I don't know my user ID
- If you are a member or a former member of the Society for Neuroscience, your user ID is your e-mail address of record. Your password is your 9-digit member ID number. If you don't know your membership ID number, you can have it e-mailed to you. If your e-mail address is of record is incorrect or you do not receive your password information by e-mail, please contact membership@sfn.org for login assistance.
- If you are a nonmember registered user (you previously registered on the SfN Web site), your user ID is the e-mail address you used to set up your account and your password is what you set up then. However, if the password was less than seven characters, trailing "1"s should be added to reach seven characters. For example, if the password was "dog" is it now "dog1111".
- If you are a nonmember and have never registered on the SfN Web site before, click here to create a new account.
I don't know my password
- If you are a member or former member of the Society for Neuroscience and you have not yet changed your password, your password is your nine-digit ID number. Once you are logged in you may change your password in your account. If you don't know your password (ID number), you can reset it. You will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to reset your password.
I entered my user ID and password but I still can't get access
- Check the instructions above to make sure you are entering the correct user ID and password. Please note that you cannot use your Journal of Neuroscience login on the SfN Web site.
- If you have entered your user ID and password as outlined above and you still cannot log in, please contact membership@sfn.org for assistance. A staff member will contact you within the next two business days.
I am able to log in, but I am redirected back to the login page instead of to Neuroscience 2011 registration
